Based on Clueless the 1995 coming-of-age teen film; the ‘Clueless’ series focuses on themes of feminism, sexuality, fashion, iconic imagery, and women in the media.

Amy Heckerling’s timeless retelling of Jane Austen’s romance novel Emma is forever iconic for its original language, renowned costuming and loved characters.

The idea of this series is to examine female characters and aesthetic imagery. Growing up with films like Clueless, shaped my view of what it meant to be a woman. Cher represents a type feminism in which you can have self-resilience and confidence in your identity whilst still having a love for dressing up and make overs.
