Esme Sullivan

Esme Sullivan is a portrait painter and photographer based in England. Working in a realistic style, combining oil painting, fine drawing, photography and photoshop. After graduating from Chichester University with a BA in Fine Art, Esme is now working as an artist with her current practice focusing on a manipulation of an idealised image of a beautiful woman. Thematically evoking feelings of glamour, nostalgia, girlhood and sensuality. Esme’s work aims to explore representations of identity and femininity, with a focus on creating a series of believable characters, of imagined, dream-like, modern women.
